Chief of the Day, TPD
Representing Tulalip Tribes and the values of strength, courage, bravery, and leadership is the Chief for a Day. Leah Sheldon represents Tulalip Tribes as Chief for a Day. “We know you’re not just chiefs for a day,” Lt. Governor of Washington Cyrus Habib remarks in commencement, “You’re gonna be chiefs for the rest of your lives.”
National Night Out
Tulalip Police Department opens up to the community on National Night Out. The men and women in uniform serving and protecting the Tulalip Community enjoy a cookout and a game of hoops with the Tulalip Bay Fire Department.
Tulalip Police K9 Unit
Office Tipper and Officer Kait take their calibrated noses out on the job. Trained police dogs, also known as K9 units, are an invaluable tool in detecting and preventing illegal drugs making their way into the Tulalip community.
